ORION GROUP, one of the leading conglomerates in Bangladesh took a big step towards the development of sports sector in Bangladesh. ORION will implement at its own cost, country’s first International Roller Skating Stadium at Bhaluka, Mymensingh on its own land. This was declared at an auspicious program chaired by Mr. Md, Abul Kalam Azad, the SDG Coordinator of Prime Minister’s Office and the President of Bangladesh Roller Skating Federation (BRSF) along with Mr. Salman Obaidul Karim, the Managing Director of ORION and the Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Roller Skating Federation on Saturday, January 20, 2018. The program followed the inaugurated of the construction work of ‘Orion International Roller Skating Stadium’ on a 10 acre land at Bhaluka owned by Orion. The program was also attended among others, the Hon’ble Chairman of Orion Mr. Mohammad Obaidul Karim, Mr. Md. Ashadul Islam, Secretary, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mr. Md. Masud Karim, Secretary, National Sports Council, Mr. G.M. Saleh Uddin, Divisional Commissioner, Mymensingh, Mr. Akhtaruzzaman Khan Kabir, Chairman, Bangladesh Porjoton Corporation, Mr. Ahmed Asiful Hasan, General Secretary of Bangladesh Roller Skating Federation and Mr. Ashraful Alam Masud, Joint Secretary and National Coach of the Federation.

 The Senior Vice President Mr. Salman Karim showed high appreciation that Bangladesh will take part in and secure the winning position in Olympic 2020 in Japan. ORION and Bangladesh Roller Skating Federation, together have committed to this vision. In this regard, Orion will groom up a strong Roller Skating team on the ‘Banked Track’ which is going to be the first of its kind in Bangladesh. We desire to achieve a successful remark in the international ground and brighten the name of the country.
