Orion gets land for PPP Project by BTMC
Bangladesh Textile Mills Corporation (BTMC) officially handed over the project site to Orion Quaderia Textiles Ltd., a sister concern of ORION, on December 1, 2019. The site comprises 21.5 acres of land in Tongi, Gazipur.
Earlier, ORION signed a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) agreement with BTMC on July 21, 2019, with the objective of contributing to the advancement of Bangladesh’s Ready-Made Garments (RMG) industry.
On this occasion, Brigadier General Muhammad Kamruzzaman, Chairman of BTMC, formally handed over the land to Orion Quaderia Textiles Ltd.
ORION plans to establish a state-of-the-art denim complex, along with washing facilities and extended RMG units, on the project site in Gazipur.
