ORION Hosts Conference with LPG Operators Association of Bangladesh (LOAB)
Orion hosted a conference with the participation of all members of LOAB on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Orion House. The event was hosted by Mr. Mohammad Obaidul Karim, Chairman of ORION; Mr. Salman Obaidul Karim, Managing Director of ORION; and Lt. General Sabbir Ahmed, ndc, psc (Retd), Executive Director of Orion Gas Ltd.
Owners and senior officials from LOAB-enlisted companies were present at the occasion. Among the distinguished guests were Mr. Azam J. Chowdhury, Chairman of Omera LPG; Mr. Shafiat Sobhan, Vice Chairman of Bashundhara Group; and Mr. Shayan F. Rahman, Managing Director of Beximco Group. Senior representatives from BM Energy, Jamuna Spacetech Joint Venture, Totalgaz, Laugfs, Sena LPG, Navana LPG, G-Gas, Padma LPG, Newaz LPG, and Petromax also attended the conference.
In addition, several satellite plant operators participated in the meeting and were newly enlisted as members of LOAB.
The main focus of the meeting was to discuss the current LPG market situation, product pricing, cross-filling issues, and ways to create greater safety awareness among consumers.
Orion was delighted to host the event for such an important purpose and to welcome such distinguished participants.
